The best method for intake, usage and storage of oxygen is through movement and the best method for movement is exercise. Exercise has many benefits. It helps control weight, it reduces stress and fatigue, and it combats health conditions and diseases such as depression, type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, sleep apnea and respiratory problems, and some cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon). A 2010 survey from the from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention states that 24.8% of Minnesotans are obese.
